SARATOGA BITUMÌ spray coating

Bitumì is the ideal elastomeric-based coating for waterproofing and sealing.

The product is suitable for all surfaces and is particularly recommended for: wood, sheet metal, aluminum, steel, concrete, and bitumen.

The coating can be used to cover and reinforce damaged concrete roofs, secure damaged and detached membranes and coatings, and permanently seal holes and chips.

Its protective action is long-lasting and is enhanced by using the product periodically (at least twice a year) and promptly (as soon as the surface begins to deteriorate).

Applying the product is quite simple:

• make sure the surfaces are clean, dry, and degreased
• shake the can before use
• cover the areas that must not be treated with tape
• spray the product evenly over the areas requiring treatment and the surrounding surfaces
• spray from a distance of approximately 20–30 cm
• to fill and waterproof areas with significant gaps, apply successive coats (several hours apart, so that the area being treated is completely dry)
• if the gap is very large (>0.5cm), cover the hole with material such as string, fabric, paper, or cardboard before proceeding. 
• at least 2 coats of the product must be applied to any type of surface. 

To reuse the product, we recommend turning the can upside down and pressing the nozzle lightly to clean it.

Drying time is approximately 10–20 minutes to the touch, depending on humidity and temperature. Complete, thorough drying requires 2–8 hours.

The product can be painted over once it has dried completely.
